Bathroom Renovation

Caringbah, Sydney

Summary.

SORTED. was engaged by this Sutherland Shire professional family to renovate an original 1970’s bathroom, to fit the needs of this growing family. Structural changes to load bearing walls were required to maximise floor space. Timber features stained to match other features throughout the house were customised to suit by SORTED.

Final Outcome and Features.

Floor space was an issue for the original bathroom layout. SORTED was able to move two load bearing walls and re-support the roof, to be able add much needed space.

The client wanted to add some timber to match some existing woodwork in the house, so SORTED supplied and installed a wall hung timber feature and self.

To make the bathroom feel longer we continued the bathroom floor tile over the rear wall. To continue the flow of the floor, during the tile set out we made sure that the feature wall tiles would line up with the wall tiles so every detail would tie together.

We were also asked to renovate an en-suite in the master bedroom to the same style and we changed all the doors and added some built-in joinery to the 2nd bedroom.

Duration of Project.

4 weeks.
